It’s a festive weekend, with the Atlanta Blues Society Holiday Party, Diane Durrett and Soul Suga’s Merry Little WooHoo, and Albert White’s birthday party! Also, while Little Gee Weevil moving to Memphis is bittersweet for Atlanta fans, he is having one heck of a farewell party! Plus, Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials are in town! Walkin’ Boss is at The Vista Room and The Breeze Kings are at Truly Cigar Bar in Marietta. Jessie Albright & Foster Blues Band play El Don Bar & Grill in Alpharetta.
Saturday
Diane Durrett & Soul Suga present Merry Little WooHoo! at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur. Darwin’s has the “Little Gee Weevil’s Going to Memphis” Farewell Party with Little Gee Weevil, Truett Lollis. Mudcat, Rebekah Easley Ellis. Cody Matlock and more. Later, Revelator Hill with Kate Barnette is at Darwin’s. The Atlanta Blues Society has its Holiday Party with the Atlanta Blues Challenge Winners at the Helene S. Mills Multipurpose Center. Squirrel Nut Zippers are at City Winery and Darwin’s is hosting A GC/DC Music Recital. Uncle Sugar is at Northside Tavern.
