SO much is going on this weekend. There is Joe Bonamassa at the Fox and the Harp Blowout at the Vista Room and tons of our best local talent! No matter where you are in Atlanta and Metro, you are close to some amazing blues so get out and support live music!
Friday
Joe Bonamassa is at the Fox Theatre. Lil Ed & The Blues Imperials are at Blind Willie’s and The Rainmen are at Darwin’s. The Wild Hares at Fat Matt’s and Albert White is at Northside Tavern. Roger “Hurricane” Wilson is a Center Street Tavern in Acworth. Men in Blues are a the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre in Mableton and Barry Richman is at Nik’s Place. The Donna Hopkins Band is at The Hunt House in Marietta with Special Guest West End Blend. The Larry Griffith Band is at The Painted Pin and Beverly “Guitar” Watkins is at Tunes by the Tracks in Stone Mountain Village.
Saturday
Joe Bonamassa has another night at The Fox Theatre. Frankie’s Blues Mission has a 5 pm show at the Taste of East Point Festival. Katie Martin hosts the afternoon jam at Darwin’s, followed in the evening by David Fisch & the Bent Hooks and Sandra Hall & The Shadows are at Blind Willie’s. Denise Kirkland is at Fat Matt’s and Grant Green, Jr is at Northside Tavern. The Breeze Kings are at Utopia Bar in John’s Creek. There is a Harp Blowout at The Vista Room in Decatur, featuring Harpdog Brown, Juke Joint Johnny, Sam Frazier, Jeff Baker, Marcus Holt, and hosted by the Cazanovas. The Kerry Hill Band is at the Eagles Club and The John Pagano Band is at Good Ol Days in Cumming. Michelle Malone is at Matilda’s in Alpharetta and Michael Preston is at Nik’s Place. The Tom Hill Band is at ARTucker at the Tucker Recreation Center and they also host an open jam at Buckeye’s Getaway. The Larry Griffith Band continues at The Painted Duck

Merm-AID: A Benefit Gala for Rebecca DeShon takes place at Red Light Café with Donna Hopkins, Campbell Harrison, Samantha Alessi-Jones, Kate Moore, Richie Jones,Colin Gardner, Ralph Roddenbery, Jess Wells, John Marsh, Brian O’Neal, and Justin Boudreau. Royal Johnson is at Darwin’s. Garrett Collins is at Fa Matt’s Uncle Sugar is at Northside Tavern.
