It’s a weekend full of blues! There are a plethora of talented local blues artists all over Metro, so take your pick! Check it out!
Friday
Sandra Hall & the Shadows are at Blind Willie’s and Northside Tavern has Nathan Nelson from 6-9, followed by The Rib Shack Lady. The Rockin’ Blues Review is at Fat Matt’s. The Breeze Kings are at Maxwell’s Cigar Bar in Woodstock. Sami & Sean Michelsen of Alchemy perform from 7-9 pm at Tunes by the Tracks in Stone Mountain Village. Cable Warren & the Gents come to Gypsy Rose Music in Roswell and The Mighty Finds are Bluesat Full Throttle Roadhouse. The Garrett Collins Project is at Brewster’s in Marietta and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram visits Eddie’s Attic. Stiff Kitty is at MoonShadow Tavern in Tucker and there’s an Open Jam with the Tom Hill Band at Will Henry’s at Sugarloaf in Lawrenceville. The Last Chance Riders and The John Pagano Band are at Smith’s Olde Bar.
Saturday
Larkin Poe plays the Candler Park Music & Food Festival. George Hughley is at Blind Willie’s. Bill Sheffield plays from 6-9 pm, followed by Cody Matlock in Northside Tavern. The Voodoo Heathens are at MoonShadow Tavern. The Nathan Morgan Band plays Full Throttle Roadhouse in Mableton and Mudcat & Little Joey Hoegger are recording live at Waller’s Coffee Shop in Decatur.
Sunday
Swami and Dave are at 6-8:30 pm, followed by Uncle Sugar at Northside Tavern. DuoRide, JB Walker & Rob Gater play at 3-7 pm at Full Throttle Roadhouse. The Garrett Collins Project is at Two Urban Licks at 11 am and Sunday Blues is at Magnolia Lounge in Forest Park.
