Mudcat w/ the Atlanta Horns have a Live Recording at Avondale Towne Cinema. Beverly “Guitar” Watkins is at Blind Willie’s and The George Price Band is at Darwin’s in Sandy Springs. The R’n’B Review comes to Fat Matt’s Rib Shack and Stoney Brooks is at Northside Tavern. The Breeze Kings visit B’s Cracklin’ BBQ and The Sweet & Salty Blues Band are at Blue Rose in Douglasville. Frankie’s Blues Mission is at Maxwell’s Cigar Bar in Woodstock and The Garrett Collins Project is at Tijuana Garage. Donna Hopkins is at Tucker City Limits and The Vista Room in Decatur presents The Little Feat Allstars, featuring Deep Blue Sun, Caroline Aiken, Bill Fleming, Jeff Mosier, Richie Jones & more.

Saturday

Darwin’s has Little G Weevil Band. Sandra Hall & The Shadows are at Blind Willie’s and The Juke Joint Dukes are at Fat Matt’s. The Bretheren are at Nik’s Place and Mandi Strachota performs from 6-9 pm, followed by Albert White at Northside Tavern. Funky Bluester is at Abbott’s Bar & Grill in John’s Creek and Diane Durrett & Soul Suga’ are at Matilda’s, in Alpharetta. The Way Back Band is at Maxwell’s Cigar Bar in Woodstock and Dani Mac & Company are at Moonshadow Tavern in Tucker. Tribute, a Celebration of the Allman Brothers Band is at Music by the Tracks in Cartersville and The Garrett Collins Project is at Tom’s Place in Cartersville. The Breeze Kings are at Wicked Pig BBQ in Clayton.

Sunday

Trombone Shorty’s Voodoo Threauxdown is at Chastain Park Amphitheatre, featuring Galactic, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, New Breed Brass Band with special guests Cyril Neville and Walter Wolfman Washington. Garrett Collins is at Fat Matt’s Rib Shack and Swamii is followed by Uncle Sugar at Northside Tavern. There’s a Gospel Lunch with Mandi Strachota at Darwin’s. The Melody Trucks Band with Lamar Williams, Jr. and Critter are at MoonShadow Tavern. Southern Avenue, The Vagabonds, & The Titos are at Park Tavern Sunset Sessions.

The Atlanta Blues Society will hold it’s International Blues Challenge at the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta on AUG 26!!
