Sarah Grace is a young Southern belle with an artistic side. Sarah Grace had synesthesia when she was younger, a condition in which she would see colors in response to hearing music. While she later lost this sensory gift, it was what inspired Sarah Grace to pursue music. Sarah plays a variety of instruments at her local high school and even started her own band with her family.
She learned piano and trumpet at a young age and performed in a family band. On the The Voice she told the judges she loves the blues, a love she acquired when she attend a “Blues Camp” for young musicians. Back in Houston she fronts a three-piece band called Sarah Grace and The Soul with bandmates Reagan Kimberly on drums and Daniel Holder on bass.
She tried out for the Voice by Singing Janis Joplin’s version of Ball and Chain and received a 3 chair turn from Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton. She choose to be on Kelly Clarkson’s Team and it was on that team she moved all the way to the Semi Finals before being eliminated on last weeks show! Sarah has recently received an endorsement from Hammond Organs!
