Ned Bolle is Making a Scene

Making a Scene brings you an interview with Ned Bolle of Mean Old Fireman and the Cruel Engineers
Art may imitate life, but without a doubt, life has shaped the music of slide guitarist/multi-instrumentalist, Ned Bollé. He brings his varied life experience that are as diverse as his instrumental influences: Sonny Landreth, Joe Pass, Steve Morse, Duane Allman, Danny Gatton…to his studio albums, as well as to his live performances. It’s the sound of the new Americana.
Joined by some of Boston’s finest and most versatile musicians, Mean Old Fireman plays most often as a trio either acoustic or electric (and often both in the same night). For larger venues and festivals, the band can fill out with additional members. Their second CD, Dumpster Fire, spent over 30 weeks with tracks on the Roots Music Report’s charts, Mean Old Fireman is playing dates at venues throughout the Northeast.
