We began with a Stolen Hearts’ new single, The Blues Had An Angel. It is their dedication to the late Robin Rogers. We missed speaking with Pam & Robert, but will have them on again real soon.
SPENCER MacKENZIE – Segment Begins At The 13:30 Mark
Spencer has been performing in the Southern Ontario region for a number of years. In 2013 he came to Memphis for the IBC Youth Showcase. He has released his debut album, Infected By The Blues, and Spencer and I talked about the music and where he is headed. OH, did I mention, Spencer is ONLY 16!
MARK MAY – Segment Begins At The 49:10 Mark
Mark has released his 6th album entitled Blues Heaven. It is the guitarists’ debut on the Conner Ray Music label. After spending time with Dickey Betts & Great Southern, May is back out sharing his unique guitar skills with audiences from coast to coast. Mark and I talked about his career and the new music.
CLINT MORGAN – Segment Begins At The 1:34:30 Mark
Clint released his debut in 2008. His sophomore effort, Scofflaw, was released on June 17th and Clint came by to sit on The Couch and talk about his career, how the Blues found him, his mentoring at the Pinetop Perkins Foundation Workshops and, of course, the new album and music.
