Mark had emergency surgery in early March and was diagnosed with a form of cancer called Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. After recovering from surgery, he had to begin chemotherapy treatments. Mark continued  to work until he had a serious setback in the beginning of May. He ended up back in the hospital with another serious condition due to an infection and had to spend four days in quarantine. After that, his doctors advised him to stay home and stay away from crowds.  As a full time musician, Mark will not be able to work until his chemo treatments are completed.
