As we near the end of 2019 it’s time to take a look at the year and what we have been able to accomplish here at Making a Scene! We look at our stats to see if we are truly living up to our mission of being the #1 Resource for the Indie Artist and the Fans that Love them!
In 2019 our writers brought you over 359 CD reviews! Each of these reviews brought you videos, Spotify Players and links to purchase their music. In addition we brought you over 214 Featured Interviews with Indie Artist and Industry Professionals (we saw another Mag boasted 53 featured interviews, We think they need to step it up!)! Again each interview exposed these artists music with videos, Streaming and purchase links.
We now average over 8 million page views a month and our newsletter list is nearing 24,000 subscribers. We are quite proud of what we have been able to accomplish!
NO OTHER MAGAZINE OR BLOG ANYWHERE has brought more to the indie artist and their fans!
That brings us to our Top 10 Links of 2019. These are the most clicked on links for the year and what we always find interesting is every year our home page is far and above the most clicked on link. What this tells us is you, our fans and readers, come to our site often because you know WE POST NEW CONTENT EVERY DAY!
Also we have had a great success with the Independent Blues Awards and this year we have added the Independent Americana and Country Awards. Having both of those nomination links in the top ten proves we must be on to something. If you have not nominated your favorite artists Get your nominations in!
