Making a Scene Turns 9 Years Old!
On May 1 2014 we launched Making a Scene as a web magazine that would support independent artists with Interviews, CD Reviews, Gear Reviews, Articles on Music Business as well as keeping a finger on the pulse of the Music Industry and informing the indie music community on what technologies are going to be important to them in the future!
During the past 9 years we have succeeded beyond our expectations. We have published over 1,625 Interviews, 2,470 CD Reviews plus countless articles on The Music Business and Gear Reviews. No other online Web Magazine has committed and accomplished the feat of creating and posting new content EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR NINE YEARS!
Below is our Top 20 Posts over the past 9 Years. The most interesting statistic is #1 and #2 are our Home page and our newsletter archives! People are coming to our site to find our new content. Our 3rd place is the voting for the Independent Blues Awards, the only FREE awards that is voted on by the fans and showcases those artists who are out there creating new original music rooted in the blues.
