It’s hard to believe that it’s been nine years since Making a Scene first came to life. It’s time to celebrate and look back at some of the milestones we’ve achieved over the past nine years.
As of today we have published 1,821 Artist interviews and 2,873 Release Reviews that cover all genres of music! We have published over 1,978 Podcasts and over 2,500 articles on Music Business, Gear Reviews and Interviews with Industry professionals. I have yet to see any online publication with states this extensive!
As our readership grew, so did our team. Our review writers are some of the best in the industry! . You have Richard Ludmerer covering Blues and Roots, Jim Hynes covering Jazz and Blues/Roots, Tom Clarke Covering Blues/Roots/Rock, Dee Dee McNeil Covering Jazz, Martina Doerner Covering Blues/rock/pop and in Europe Gerry Casey who covers the music scene in Europe as well as showcasing Blues, Roots, Rock artists both in Europe and the US! As we mark our ninth year of publication, we can’t help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. We’ve come a long way since our humble beginnings, and we’re excited about the journey ahead.
