Making a Scene Celebrates 7 Years of Supporting Indie Artists and the Fans that Love them!

What was started on May 1 2014 has grown exponentially! With the help of our dedicated team of writers we have brought you In depth CD Reviews, Artist Interviews, Gear Reviews, Music Business articles, Recording Techniques and So much more!

One of the goals we strived for from day one was to publish new content every single day, a goal I can stand by with pride. In our 7 years we have publish new content EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last 7 years covering all genres and touching on all aspects of the music business! I don’t know of any other music blog or publication that can make that claim! As we do every year we take a look at our top 10 most read articles..

In addition we have expanded our social media reach over the years. Every one of our published content is promoted on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram, Tumbler, Pintrest, Reddit, and now we are expanding into TikTok, Youtube etc. All Our Podcasts are shared on Mixcloud, Simplecast, Spotify Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, IHeartRadio, Vudl, Breaker, Deezer, PocketCast, Tunein, Sticher, and Radio public!

Our second goal was to provide the Indie Music Community with REAL information without the hype and any tricks that are designed to separate the artist from their money. We only review those things we feel are of value and can help the indie artist in their journey.

There is no blog or publication that I have found that works harder to promote our content and in turn our advertisers! We Currently administer to over 72 Facebook Groups and a Dozen Facebook pages support all genres of music and promoting Music Business Information!

As a testament to dedication to posting new content our most read page is our HOME PAGE! This shows that people are coming back daily to see what is new and check out our content!
