Let’s get “All Together Now” with The Peace Collective
This year marks the centenary of the famous Christmas Truce of World War I, when English and German soldiers declared their own temporary truce and met in No Man’s Land to play football and exchange souvenirs. In honor of that spontaneous outburst of peace, a group of musicians have banded together as The Peace Collective to release a version of The Farm’s “All Together Now” and benefit the Red Cross.
The Peace Collective includes Julian Lennon, The Farm, Suggs, Mick Jones, J, Jah Wobble, I Am Kloot, Shara Nelson, Alexandra Burke, John Power, Jon McClure of Reverent and the Makers, Dave McCabe of The Zutons, Leo Sayer and more.
The profits will support the Red Cross’s work around the world and also benefit .The Shorncliffe Trust, which provides educational experiences about World War I.
