This dynamic duo has been vital to the success of Little Village, as the vast majority of the over 60 albums in the label’s catalog from the past 8 years have been directly from Kid & Lisa’s in demand Greaseland USA studio for the recording, producing, mixing, mastering, and most of all, Magic!

Most of already know Kid Andersen as a mind blowing, creative, powerful, tasteful, original guitarist (with Charlie Musselwhite, Elvin Bishop, Terry Hanck, and his current long time band Rick Estrin & The Nightcats , and of course guitarist, producer, and magic maker for countless Greaseland/Little Village sessions), but who knew he could sing so well, and why haven’t we heard him before?? I shouldn’t be surprised, as I knew his witty sense of humor (he grew up in Norway and his 1^st impression of America was watching SIMPSONS and SEINFELD) and his eloquent, interesting writing would produce some killer songwriting, but I didn’t know about his convincing vocals! And of course, his amazing production and musician friend wrangling skills are unparalleled.

And we’ve known all along that Lisa Andersen could SING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This talented woman could sing the phonebook and we’d be floored, but we’ve mostly heard her supplying support and backup vocals, and never heard her so well as a leader with the full GREASELAND production from Kid and friends! You’ll find these remarkable and varied memorable songs are so gorgeous, heartfelt, and really moving, emotional and full of SOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
