Making a Scene Presents an interview with Arnau Bosch – Soundstorming
For the past 4 years, Arnau has been leading the most significant and iconic global campaigns for Apple. All of them with Music on its core. From the launch of the Apple Music platform to AirPods, to ‘Welcome Home,’ which was HomePod’s Launch Film, he has a deep understanding of how to create emotional content through music.
His talent has been recognized and awarded at international festivals like the Cannes Lions Awards, The D&AD Awards, The One Show awards, and other Premier Creative Awards.
The smart phone has become part of the songwriting process in the digital age. Today songwriters use their cell phones as a notepad to record bits and pieces of song ideas whenever the spark of creativity hits them. This has increasingly become the new way of capturing these moments of inspiration, it would only stand to reason that sooner or later an app would come along to take advantage of this process.
Soundstorming is an app that allows songwriters and other creative individuals to capture creative inspirations, organize them and take better advantage of these snippets in the creative process. On the surface Soundstorming is a great way to organize this information in a cloud format, but as you did deeper, it gives the creative community their own social media platform that conforms to their way of working as opposed to the other way around. Soundstorming allows you to make one or more of your bits of inspirations available to the community at large for collaborations or find bits of inspirations and artists to collaborate with. This is an interesting concept and even though it is still at the ground floor, it is well worth checking out considering it is a free download for you iphone!
