Making a Scene Presents Gerry Casey’s Interview with John Angus of the John Angus Blues Band
I am writing new songs and the band are rehearsing our new show. We can’t wait to be gigging again.
The John Angus Band perform original Blues Rock Songs, crafted by John and my fellow musicians in the band.
We also play blues rock covers by our favorite artists who have inspired us over the years. Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter, Paul Rodgers , Muddy Waters and many more. The blues band is based in Cheshire and Staffordshire in The UK and we perform at major venues and blues festivals., like The Great British Rhythm and Blues festival, Darlington Blues festival and Nantwich Jazz and Blues festival.
We are a band based in Cheshire UK playing original blues rock material at blues rock venues and festivals. Our music is influenced by Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Robert Johnson and the seventies genre of blues artists including The amazing Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter and Paul Rodgers.
Our first album “It’s about Time” an eleven track album was released on Grove Music in March 2019.
