How to get your record into the Americana Airplay
database
We request that a CD with a complete track listing and a
one sheet including the date that the album is “going for adds”, be sent
to the AMA office in order for the album to be added to our system. IMPORTANT:
The “going to adds” date MUST be included in order for the record to be
added into the database.

Add Date:
Reporting stations cannot add spin
counts to an album until the album has been manually loaded into the system by
the AMA office staff.
To ensure that your album is
entered into the system by the “going for adds date”, the package needs to be
received in the AMA office TWO WEEKS prior to that date.
If a station is attempting to
report on an album and it is not in the system, it is because we have never
been serviced or we are waiting to enter the title on the week it is “going for
adds”.
Unfortunately, our system is not
able to accept digital delivery at this time.
Occasionally, we receive requests
from radio station reporters to add album titles to the system. While we
attempt to meet these requests, it is often too timely of a process to research
every album title requested. Therefore,
if you are a reporter to the chart, it is best that you reach out to the label
or the promoter that sent you the music and ask them to send it along to us.
