Bill is from the North Texas area. A songwriter that did not start writing until he was in his 50’s. It was an honor when he won Song Writer of the Year at the Texas Troubadour Classic in 2015. Bill has won other songwriting awards since then but the biggest honor was being chosen to represent Texas in the International Blues Challenge 2020 in Memphis Tennessee.
Bill’s songs seem to touch people’s hearts and are played on Radio Stations all over the United States and played in multiple area’s overseas. “Ain’t your kinda man” “The Gift” “Barefoot Boogie” and “Destiny” are Bill’s most played songs and all are available on CD Baby, ITunes, Spotify, and other music sites.
Bill is accompanied by great musicians themselves, such as: Bill Hudson, Guthrie Kennard, Rick Binkley, Pete Thompson, Gigi Gostas, also Billy Cave, Billy Blueshoes, Josh Rodgers, John Smith, and Ron Norman to name just a few that are on his CD’s.
Bill’s songs are a mixture of Blues, Electric Blues, Accustic, Rock, with a little Folk and Country to round out Bill’s unique sound and style. People like the sound and messages that come from his songs and he will tell all that his songs come from the heart and his Recovery from addiction plays a huge part in all his writings. He also throws out a huge shout out to his wife of almost 28 years, Julie, for her support and inspiration.
