Well what can I say about this remixed album of High Voltage Gold . Back in 2018 when I heard the original version I was blown away with the quality of this album. At the time, entering the amazon charts at #1 and deservingly so .

Six years later we have the new improved turbo charged version of a blues rock classic, with history repeating itself yet again entering those charts at #1. Quite an achievement you might think but when you consider his previous album High Voltage Blues has been well over a year in The Billboard Blues Album Charts then nothing comes as a surprise about this blues rock sensation!

The title track Peace, Love , And Loud Guitars was never more relevant than right now ,with all the unrest in the world. Why not pick up your air guitar and follow Anthony on a mission of peace and love to unite the world through the power of music. Now that’s a cause definitely worth fighting for. I’ve joined a long time ago cause this is where we need to be if love and peace and loud rock n roll is what we want! Come On Down makes the call to the eternal King of the blues BB. King to come amongst us again with his magic, we would certainly appreciate that.

The thing is when magic happens it’s difficult to explain all we know is when that music reaches our ears our hearts sing and our feet stamp . Has Anthony a secret weapon, could it be the steady beat of Chris on those drums or Jacob’s pounding out the rhythm on his bass , then we have The Voice !!’ Oh man this voice of Anthony’s is so full of emotion and raw power it could cause an earthquake. But in truth It’s all of those things that when combined makes for some of the most powerful emotional kick ass rock n’ roll you’re ever likely to hear anywhere.

So songs like The Whiskey Made Me Do it White Trash Princess, Blues In The First Degree ,Hard Road Easy, and all of the other outstanding tracks on this album goes to prove one thing! ROCK N’ ROLL is very much alive and well. Go ask the masses of Anthony Gomes fans who are attending his live shows all over the world in rapidly increasing numbers. They will gladly tell you a Gomes concert Is the place to be if your heart rocks and your soul rolls.
