JOEY DELGADO – Guitarist for the Delgado Brothers who took 1st place at the 2016 International Blues Challenge. The band was unavailable during the wrap-up show, so Joey called in to talk about the week the band had and their plans for 2016.
LITTLE BOYS BLUE – Segment Begins At The 11:40 Mark
The band was formed in 1993. As a duo, in 1997 they won third place in the International Blues Competition. In 2013 Dave Mallard, Mark Brooks, Alex Taylor and Dave Thomas joined the band to complete the existing lineup. We sat and spoke with JD about the history of the band, their growth from playing so many gig and the band today. We listened to tunes from Bad Love.
BOB MARGOLIN – Segment Begins At The 51:05 Mark
Bob began playing with Muddy Waters at 24 years of age and toured the world over the next 7 years and then began his own band. Bob has written about his journeys and has amassed a discography that shines. He and I had a great talk and I believe we uncovered some information that had not been shared before. We also played songs from My Road.
