Trudy Lynn Golden Girl
Golden Girl
This is Trudy Lynn’s eighteen recording. Lynn often writes about domineering men and prostitution. Women like the “TV Mama” “the one with the big wide screen”.
This all-original new recording features Kevin Mckendree keyboards, Yates McKendree guitar, Terry Wilson bass and background vocals, Teresa James background vocals, and Brennen Temple drums.
Also featured are Darrell Leonard horns and arrangements, Steve Krase harmonica, and special guest guitarist Anson Funderburgh. The all-original new songs include “Tell Me”, “Golden Girl Blues”, and “Heartache is a One-Way Street”.
Lynn has played with everyone from Louis Jordan to Calvin Owens as she celebrates her 18th year and 57th year in show business. This recording should earn Lynn further recognition as one of our premiere traditional blues vocalists.
