Markey Blue is one dynamic and unstoppable group and they blew the crowd at Darwin’s Burgers and Blues in Marietta away Saturday night. Beautiful Markey danced and sang her heart out. She never stopped moving! She is so tall that with her heels on she kept bumping her fist on the ceiling henever she raised her arm,, which she thought was as funny as the crowd did.

Markey and guitarist Ric Lantana have put together such a tight band and everybody got a chance to show off and shine from the drummer and keyboardist to the new bass player. This is a band that never, never disappoints. With songs from their debut album, “”Hey Hey,” and some sneak peeks from the soon-to-be-released and eagerly anticipated second album,  plus a seasonsl treat from the Christmas EP they released last year, Markey and Lantana proved once again what great songwriters they are.

This band is as friendly and approachable off stage as they are at home and in control on stage.

Markey Blue is representing Atlanta in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January. We could not be in better hands. They are one of y favorite groups of the year.
