Mick Kolassa, also known as Michissippi Mick. is a lifelong musician and hardcore blues fan who also happens to be on the Board of Directors of the Blues Foundation. His love of the blues began 50 years ago and with this and his previous album he is able to share that love with you. Listening to this new CD “Ghosts of the Riverside Hotel”, Produced by Jeff Jensen, You can easily see that there is a deep love all styles of blues. In addition, you are struck by his ability to find the blues song hidden in tunes that most people wouldn’t think of as blues.
