The 2015 Pennsylvania Blues Festival
The 2015 Pennsylvania Blues Festival
Last year Michael Cloeren amicably received his marching papers from Blue Mountain. He had produced his Pennsylvania Blues Fest there for the last four years having moved it there from the original Big Boulder site in Lake Harmony.
Soldiering on, Michael Cloeren found refuge at The Split Rock Lodge back in his old stomping grounds of Lake Harmony. On July 24th, 25th and 26th maestro Cloeren produced one of his best Blues Festivals ever, his 24th annual Pennsylvania Blues Fest.
The above is a slide show documenting the performances at this blues festival. For all those who didn’t attend there is always next year.
Artists included: Mikey Jr., Bev Conklin, Harmonica Shah, John Mooney, Sugar Ray and The Bluetones, John Nemeth, Lil Ed and The Blues Imperials Selwyn Birchwood, Shemekia Copeland, Slam Allen, Vanesse Thomas and Walter “Wolfman” Washington (apologies go out to Alvin Youngblood Hart and The Peterson Brothers whose pics are not included.
