BRIDGET KELLY BAND – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Bridget and Tim came by to talk about Dark Spaces, their latest release. We also discussed the current situation with the pandemic and the civil unrest and discussed Tim’s new course on The History Of The Blues…all the while, listening to cuts from the album.
SUSAN ANGELETTI – Segment Begins At The 51:05 Mark
Susan has released her fourth album, You Really Got A Hold On Me, and she joined me to talk about her journey. Lots of information was shared and she and I also discussed the loss of work and her feelings on the US at the moment.
ROCHELLE & THE SIDEWINDERS
Segment Begins At The 1:35:00 Mark
Rochelle & the band have released Something Good and she and Tom sat on The Couch for their first Monday visit. They are both fun folks and Rochelle was open about the situations she has faced as a Black woman in the US today.
KAT PEARSON – Segment Begins At The 2:20:30 Mark
Kat joined me early in the morning in London. She has just released My Roots, her third album. We had a really interesting conversation about her journey and moving to London. She also spoke about her ancestors who came out of slavery to find their way in a racially divided America.
