There are loads of blues for Memorial Day weekend and The Decatur Arts Festival too! So kick back and enjoy yourself with any of these events!
Friday
Sandra Hall and The Shadows are at Blind Willie’s Big C comes to Fat Matt’s Rib Shack and Northside Tavern has Nathan Nelson from 6-8 pm, followed by Tyler Neal with/ Caleb Tokarska. Bluehop Fandango is at MoonShadow Tavern in Tucker and Urban Soil visits Gypsy Rose Music in Roswell and The Fabulous Spankedelic are at Full Throttle Roadhouse in Mableton. Frankie’s Blues Mission is at Maxwell’s Cigar Bar in Woodstock and The Larry Griffith Band is at The Painted Duck. The Cody Matlock Band plays from 7-9 pm at Tunes by the Tracks in Stone Mountain Village.
Saturday
Big Bill Morganfield is at Blind Willie’s and The Vipers are at Fat Matt’s. Bill Sheffield performs from 6-9 pm, followed by Debbie Bond at Northside Tavern. Dynagroove is at Full Throttle Roadhouse in Mableton. The LCR Band is at MoonShadow Tavern and ThunderGypsy is at Dillon’s in Lawrenceville. Kitty Rose & the Rattlers play at noon, and No Solution a t2 pm at the Decatur Arts Festival in Downtown Decatur.
Sunday
There is a Celebration of the Life of Van Miller at 6:30 pm at Blind Willie’s. Swami and Dave perform from 6-8:30 pm, followed by Uncle Sugar at Northside Tavern. And DuoRide, JB Walker & Rob Gater are from 3-7 pm at Full Throttle Roadhouse. The Decatur Arts Festival has Red Sugar Blues at 2 pm and Delta Moon at 4 pm. Jet Black & The Whacos are at Fat Matt’s Rib Shack. The Garrett Collins Project entertains at , 11 am at Two Urban Licks. There’s a Benefit for the Tucker American Legion with the Tom Hill Band from 6-7:30 pm at Will Henry’s Tavern in Stone Mountain._
