The blues are all over the place around Atlanta this weekend! And you have some really special opportunities this week with the Guitar-a-Rama with Jeff Jensen, The Cazanovas and other great guitarists and the Atlanta Blues Challenge! The Garrett Collins Project playas the Whiskey for a Cause Benefit from 5-9 pm at ASW Distillery. Sandra Hall & The Shadows are at Blind Willie’s and Marty Manous is at Darwin’s in Sandy Springs. The Groove Rockets comes to Fat Matt’s Rib Shack and Mudcat and the Atlanta Horns is at Northside Tavern. The Way Back Band is at Doc’s Food and Spirits in Smyrna and ThunderGypsy plays at the Duluth Food Trucks in Downtown Duluth. The Tom Hill Band is at MoonShadow Tavern in Tucker and The Breeze Kings are at Smoke Ring BBQ. Roger “Hurricane” Wilson and the Homeboys entertain at the Pigs & Peaches Festival in Kennesaw from 6-8 pm.

Saturday

Darwin’s has the 3rd Annual Blues Guitar-a-Rama with Jeff Jensen, Colin Alvarez, Frankie Lee Robinson, Mark D’Alessio, Jacob Bus and, the Cazanovas. Kitty Rose & the Rattlers play the Wing & Whitewalls Car show at The Aviation Wing of Marietta. Bob Margolin is at Blind Willie’s and The Wild Hares are at Fat Matt’s. Battlefield Collective is at Nik’s Place and Bill Sheffield performs from 6-9 pm, followed by Mudcat and the Atlanta Horns at Northside Tavern. Tribute, A Celebration of the Allman Brothers Band is at Brooklyn Cantin in John’s Creek and The Way Back Band is at Doc’s Food and Spirits in Smyrna. Stiff Kitty is at Moonshadow Tavern. Delta Moon plays an early show, followed by AJ Ghent at Eddie’s Attic. The Juke Joint Dukes are at Hemingway’s in Marietta and Donna Hopkins and Deep Blue Sun visit Music on MaLi in Lilburn. The Breeze Kings are at Reformation Brewery in Woodstock.Dani Mac & Company visit Tucker Brewing Company in Tucker. The Larry Griffith Band is at The Painted Pin.

Sunday

The Atlanta Blues Challenge takes place at Hard Rock Café. Little G Weevil is at Fat Matt’s Rib Shack and Swamii is followed by Uncle Sugar at Northside Tavern. Charles Walker Band is at Darwin’s.
