There’s a lot of blues going on this week, and in honor of Mardi Gras, I’ve listed a bit of Cajun, too! Blind Willie’s will have King Cake and Will Scruggs celebrates Fat Tuesday on the real Fat Tuesday this time! It’s time to laissez les bon temps roulez (let the good times roll) wherever you go this week!’

Monday

Blind Willie’s is closed. The Blues Jam is hosted by Lola st Northside Tavern and there’s a jam with Mike Watson & Friends at Loco’s.

Tuesday

Poverty Level is at Darwin’s and there us a Mardi Gras Celebration at Blind Willie’s with The Crawdaddys. Ross Pead & Friends are at Front Page News in Little 5 Points. Swami Gone Bananas is at Northside Tavern and there is an acoustic open mic with Bones at Nik’s Place in Marietta. Every Tuesday is Fat Tuesday with Will Scruggs happens at Louisiana Bistreaux in Decatur.

Wednesday

Darwin’s has the blues jam with The Cazanovas. Blind Willie’s has Valentine’s Day with Sandra all. Frankie’s Blues Mission entertains at Fat Matt’s. Mudcat is at Northside Tavern. Zaib Kahn hosts the open blues jam at Nik’s Place and there’s a blues jam with Nick Edelstein & Friends at Cabbage Pie. Markell Williams’ Sam Cooke Experience takes place at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta. Little G Weevil is at Two Urban Licks.

Thursday

Doyle Bramhall II comes to City Winery. Houserocker Johnson and The Shadows are at Blind Willie’s. Cody Matlock & The Mothership are at Darwin’s and Chickenshack is at Fat Matt’s. Saturday

Delbert McClinton is at Variety Playhouse with Casey James opening. James Armstrong entertains at Blind Willie’s. Radar is at Darwin’s and The Breeze King are at Northside Tavern. The Bretheren are at Nik’s Place and The Rockaholics are at Buckeye’s Getaway. Fat Arm Daddy is at MoonShadow Tavern and The Larry Griffith Band is at The Painted Duck.

Sunday

The Atlanta Blues Society has its Annual Membership Meeting and Jam with host band Garrett Collins Project from 3-6 pm at Blind Willie’s.Later, Garrett Collins is at Fat Matt’s and Uncle Sugar is at Northside Tavern. Marc Broussard is at Terminal West.
