Anthony Rosano and the Conqueroos blend old school blues with a modern rock sound. Conjuring Muddy Water flowing into second line funk with fuzzy guitar riffs on Chicago’s south side. Voted “Best Blues” for 3 years (2015/2016/2017), along with “Best Live Performer” (2017) and an “Album of the Year” nomination for “Get ROO’D” (2016) in the VEER Music Awards. The two time “International Blues Challenge” Semi Finalists released a LIVE record “ROO’D Awakening” in the spring of 2016 which along with their previous effort “Get ROO’d”, received international radio airplay as well as spins on Sirius XMBluesville.
In October of 2016 Anthony and The Conqueroos made the trip to New Orleans and NOLA Studios. With producer Mike Zito , Grammy winning engineer David Farrell, and the help of Anders Osbourne and Johnny Sansone, they recorded their newest album due for release in April 2017. The band has played Numerous Festival dates and opened for artists as diverse as G.Love, Mike Zito, Tab Benoit, TRAIN (yes THAT Train), Eric Lindell, and The Gin Blossoms. Featuring Guitar and Vocals by Anthony Rosano, Paul Warren on Bass, J.B. Bustillos on Harp and Sax, and Scott Smith on Drums.
