A rare gem indeed; Jessey Jackson is quite simply a force to be reckoned with! Far from your average ‘run of the mill’ female performer; this self taught singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist is often likened to celebrated artists such as the immortal Janis Joplin, Melissa Etheridge, Tracy Chapman and Stevie Nicks. Her formidable raw and gutsy vocals; backed by foot driven beats, harmonies, rhythm, slide & lead guitars; create both a unique and powerful wall of sound. With performances featuring everything from silky smooth folk, to dirty slide blues, rock, country and soul; Jessey passionately delivers to audiences of all ages a truly diverse and entertaining one woman show!

Traversing the country with her sidekick Buddy and caravan in tow Jessey has performed in just about every kind of venue there is from caravan parks, wineries, festivals, fundraisers, gallery openings, corporate, house concerts, private parties, cafe’s, weddings, cultural centres, pubs, golf courses, country clubs, wharfs, restaurants, resorts, yacht clubs, busking, night clubs, pool halls, house concerts, birthday parties, long table dinners, pop up’s, street performances, open mic nights, competitions, military functions, awards nights, primary schools, remote communities, markets, blues clubs, sailing clubs, government events, Irish Hooleys, Christmas parties and more!!

Jessey has also opened for some of Australia & Irelands premier acts including Tex Perkins, Mental as Anything, Chris Wilson, Tiffany Eckhart, Cyndi Boste, James Reyne, Cleveland Blues, Rob Strong (Ireland), Paddy Goodwin (Ireland). To say the girl has ‘paid her dues’ is an understatement!

With three studio albums under her belt & the fourth on the way Jessey is also an accomplished and critically acclaimed songwriter, her emotive and well crafted lyrics both relatable and moving. Jessey’s latest offering ‘Bohemian’ is in the pre-production stage and will be recorded in Ireland with some of the country’s most prestigious established; and up-and-coming artists! The album is expected to be released in 2023.

As she progresses on her musical journey, Jessey Jackson consistently demonstrates her ability to truly capture the hearts and minds of audiences everywhere.
